About the SBTI Personality Test
What is SBTI?
SBTI (Shit-Based Type Indicator) is an entertainment personality test based on 15 dimensions, featuring 30 standard questions plus 2 special questions (including 1 hidden trigger question), with a total of 27 personality types in the result library.
Unlike traditional MBTI, SBTI uses naming conventions rooted in Chinese internet culture — like CTRL (The Puppeteer), BOSS (The Leader), DRUNK (The Alcoholic) — making it much more relatable to young people.
The test includes the hidden personality DRUNK (triggered by a special question) and the fallback personality HHHH (assigned when standard personality match rates are very low), adding an element of fun and discovery to the whole experience.
